This car spent its first two years in Los Angeles, along with the occasional road trip. worked from home at that point, so not lot of commuting miles were put on it. In 2008, the car and moved to TN. still worked from home, so no commuting. The car has lived in garage its whole life. I've put the majority of the recent mileage on it going back and forth to Florida. Lots of highway miles. In 2011 used it to bring my brand new daughter home from the hospital. It's been reliable family car ever since. Speaking of reliable, have fairly complete repair and maintenance records on it. If you are familiar with the BMW E60 model designation, it has been pretty typical in terms of repairs:Spark plugs at 85K milesWater Pump Thermostat at 100KStarter at 130K SZL Sensor replaced as part of 2007 recall and again in 2010.Numerous sensors, seals and hoses have been replaced over time.Regular oil changes, coolant flushes, filter changes, tires and brake pad/rotor/fluid replacements have occurred as expected.I added Sirius Satellite module and coded the car to accept it. The first module died inexplicably after years of use and has since been replaced.New batteryPaint is in reasonable shape for car of this age and mileage. There are couple of door dings that could be popped out, some scratches and rock chips. In general it looks and drives lot better than you'd expect for 10 year old car. Great luxury at an affordable price. If you need to ship the car, will rebate 25% of the uship cost after the car is picked up. Guaranteed to pass emissions.
