Just getting the ad started, will finish it Monday with more pics. Short of it, 171,7XX miles but beautiful car inside and out; I'm the third owner and it is clear that the first two were very careful owners. Carfax shows that the car was maintained over its life at Baltimore-area BMW dealers. I've maintained the car at local BMW specialists Urban's Auto Services in Catonsville, MD. After passing the extremely rigorous MD inspection last year, had Urban put in new OEM cooling system as precautionary measure as the one in there was mostly original apart from the expansion tank which had been changed out just before purchased the car. Apart from the driver's window regulator (now replaced with new), the car needed nothing. In second and recent visit to Urban's, had the differential and oil filter housing seals replaced, and engine oil changed as shown in attached receipts. The earlier receipt followed Maryland inspection. Note that replaced the window regulator myself and had the cracked rear wheels repaired by Rim Renew of Catonsville, MD. The coolant leak was from the expansion tank replaced by the previous seller but as explained earlier, went ahead and had all the cooling components replaced as precaution (they were mostly original and didn't want to experience failure on the road somewhere). Also worth noting is that had the airbag recall performed by BMW Catonsville; they replaced both the driver's and passenger's airbags. As well, replaced the cowl trim piece at the bottom of the front windshield with new piece (no disintegrating rubber lip). As it is, the car needs nothing mechanically: drivetrain, suspension, electronics, everything all sorted. Drives great and get an average of 23.4 MPG in mixed driving. Interior is practically new, or at least in amazing condition considering the age of the car. Exterior has only few minor flaws; looks great and no evidence of any body work or paint work.
More photos to come. As I've got "winter" wheels with all-season tires on the car right now (17" wheels off regular 330i) I've included dealer photos from last year to show the car with the proper 18" ZHP rims on the car. The 17" are not included in the winning bid but will let the winner have the set of four for $400 if he or she wants them. The 17" rims were refinished recently and the tires on both sets -- 17" and 18" -- are fairly fresh.
Why selling? Just bought '15 Mustang GT in weak moment so don't really need the BMW any longer as it was my commuter car (a family minivan handles hauling duties).
No reserve but will be advertising the car locally so reserve the right to end the auction early. Attached Thumbnails
