Here for sale is my 2002 BMW X5 3.0d
It has been great car to own and the most comfortable smooth riding car I've had. have mainly used it for motorway miles driving between London and Devon. The car is on high miles at about 180,000 but mechanically it hasn't missed beat, know the previous owner was using it for similar purpose, high mileage doesn't scare me so tend to buy high milers as they have usually had most of the major maintenance work done. There are few non mechanical things that need sorting that i haven't got round to doing, mainly due to busyness. So that why i'm putting the car up at very reasonable price. 
Good points - Lots of history with stamped service book - MOT until April 2017- Last service was in April 2016 where spent around ??500 on various bits including new rear brakes, with receipt- New battery with receipt - I've put new tires on it, think have the receipts for these, the front right tire will need replacing in few thousand miles- Drives perfectly, engine is great, smooth with enough power to munch the motorway miles- Recon gearbox in 2014 with receipt (i think this was around ??1000 and is something you wont have to worry about in the future) - Original bill of sale for the car which was about ??40k- Fully electric front seats very comfortable- CD changer, onboard computer with satnav MPG and all those things you would expect - Fuel economy surprisingly good, averaging about 30mpg with is better than was getting in my old BMW 318
Issues- Recently had the blowers/ fans on at max power and they stopped working after prolonged use, im told it could be the FSU (about ??40) but cant guarantee this. - Window regulator bracket on the rear drivers side window broke so is now in the fixed position up, regulators are around ??30 on ebay. - Window regulator doesn't work on the front passenger side window at all. This has been like that since bought it. My aim was to buy full complete door to replace this and the door handle but haven't had the time. - closed the front passenger door on the seat belt and somehow it meant the door handle will not work from the outside, but will open from the inside. - Drove to Cardiff last month and someone was kind enough to key scratch down the left hand side of the car (i will aim to get detailed pictures of this when have time) this is one long line that goes across both doors and small amount on the panels either side of this. It may polish/ cut out, i'll have go at doing this. - Folding electric mirrors dont work properly, they do manually. 
Being as honest as possible with this listing, its great car and will provide thousands more driving miles, just needs few little bits doing to make it perfect again if you have the time. I've just purchased another car and having 4x4 is unnecessary in London. Will likely be looking for BMW or Mercedes estate soon.
