Offered for sale is rare, one of 88 made, 2000 BMW 750iL Protectionarmored/armoured (bulletproof) luxury sedan. 104,500 original miles. To makethings clear there are some individuals advertising their vehicle as aprotection model when it is not. All e38 750iL vehicles came with dual paneglass. The Protection version has 19.4mm thick glass in the doors, and eventhicker front windshield, and rear window. It also has fully armoredpassenger compartment, special wheels, and other additional features giving ita B4 level rating. (protection from most handguns, and 12 gauge shotguns) Thereis no sunroof.  There were only 88 ofthese vehicles produced and delivered worldwide, half of them made it to USAmaking this car one of about 44, probably the only one in white as most ofthese came in black or other dark colors. The US sticker price of this car wasover $127,000. Which is about $28,000 more than normal version e38 750iL. Dueto the armoring throughout the car side effect is that the car is very quiet,in fact it is just as quiet as Tesla while driving at 60mph on the highway. Thecar is about 480 pounds heavier compared to regular model. Highway fueleconomy is not effected by the additional weight.   This car has beenmaintained by BMW dealer since new, there are 49 service records from BMW onthis vehicle throughout its lifetime up through the end of 2013 when it was putinto storage. Since then it has been driven less than 1500 miles. Highlights ofwork done, radiator, thermostat, expansion tank, water pump, suspension, tires,power steering hoses, ABS/DSC module, etc. Vehicle has never been in anaccident. This is owner vehicle but the first two are the person as it wasoriginally lease. Carfax shows no accidents or events of any kind. Recentlythe vehicle was brought out of storage, 2001 facelift performed (side skirts,bottom of bumpers painted body color, clear front/side turn signal and reartail lamps installed), refreshed, cleaned, serviced, and tested.  The car needs nothing and is ready to give acontinued life of reliable service, comfort, safety, security, as well asaesthetic pleasure.  The car shows well,and is in great overall condition. Seats, carpet are in great shape. Paint issmooth and has high gloss.  There are nofluid leaks, no rust or oxidation on the underside of the car. The engine runssmoothly, transmission shifts as designed, there is no shimmy or vibration inthe steering, and there is no noise from the suspension.  All accessories operate properly, all displaysoperate with no missing pixels.  A/Cblows cold. Tires and brakes have over 85% life remaining, front tires are new.  There is dent in the back of the car justbelow the left tail light.
