HAVE 2000 BMW 323I THAT HAD BELT IDLER PULLEY GO BAD AND CAUSED THE BELT TO BURN OFF, THEN ENGINE OVERHEATED THE CAR WAS REPAIRED WITH NEW PULLEYS AND BELTS, THE PROBLEM AFTER THAT WAS IT HAD AN INCONSISTENT TEMPERATURE GAUGE READING AND YOU CAN SMELL ANTIFREEZE WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING. BELIEVE THE HEAD GASKET MAY HAVE BLOWN. HAD THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT 15,000 MILES AGO, NEW FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS 2000 MILES AGO AND NEW BALL JOINT AND CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS.
