1995 BMW M3 E36 for sale

Up for sale locally in Orange County, CA is my 1995 hellrot M3 with stage 2.5 HPF S54 conversion with speed manual from the euro M3. The original s50 motor the car had the timing chain break, and bought euro s50b32 motor and trans from germany. took that euro motor apart to see the condition of the internals and wanted to build beefy N/A euro M3. An opportunity arose to buy an E46 M3 with the 2.5 HPF kit and bought that car, swapped the engine, and abandoned the euro build. The HPF engine build turbo kit was originally $40,000. spent around $30,000 on this car not including the chassis.
The motor has 4,000 miles on the build, I've had the motor in the car since 2013 and rarely drive it as it is too scary. The car made 675whp on 91 pump, the race gas map has more boost and have no idea how much it makes, never ran it with that map.
The chassis is an all original (with vin tags) hellrot on black car, the paint is all original with no accidents, has some clear coat peeling in few spots. The interior is in great shape with no rips or tears in the manual heated vaders. Better condition than most E36's with similar mileage. Headliner is sagging though.
I built the car to go to shift sector half mile drags with something cool. The car is insanely fast, it tore the engine and tranny polyurethane mounts in half during race so missed winning the BMW trophy that year during the championship race. Car kicked ass all day until that though.
In preparing for selling it I've taken it out of storage and have been daily driving it. The car purrs, it's complete sleeper but when you leave it in gear and let it boost it puts smile on your face every time. The original HPF kits has an AEM piggyback and the part throttle tuning leaves something to be desired, but on boost it is smooth as butter and consistent. If you do standalone ECU, this engine is built to handle 1000+hp easy and in the lighter E36 chassis it would set some world records in the quarter mile.
I spent lot of money on the drivetrain and had dreams of going to widebody and doing the standalone e85 mapping, but I'm already not getting my investment back there's no point in me pursuing the dream any further as I've got other cars I'm playing with. If you are local and are not tire kicking I'm happy to take you for drive, if you have cash or cashiers check that's the only way you can get behind the steering wheel, it is not toy.
The car isn't perfect, it has some little problems but the drive-train is one of kind and with new owner who can appreciate it and bring it to it's potential, have no doubt it's front page magazine worthy. Clean title in hand.
